FAQ - General Visa Information
For a Visitor Visa (subclass 600 – Tourist Stream), the Department of Home Affairs may grant up to 12 months of total stay. For eVisitor or ETA visas, each entry is typically limited to 3 months per visit. Your visa grant notice will outline the exact stay conditions, and Sunline Travel & Tourism will explain them clearly before you book your flights. We also brief you on re-entry options, number of visits, and any special conditions. If needed, we’ll run a VEVO check to provide the official visa details in writing.
Some applicants may be asked to complete health examinations, depending on age, duration of stay, and health risk factors. If required, your ImmiAccount will generate a HAP ID, and Sunline Travel & Tourism will arrange an appointment with an approved panel clinic—no paperwork or delays. For character assessment, the Department of Home Affairs may request police certificates after submission. We’ll review your travel and work history in advance to flag if that’s likely and assist you in obtaining the correct certificates to Australian specifications.
It depends on your passport nationality: most European passports qualify for an eVisitor (651), while certain Asia-Pacific passports can apply through the ETA (601) app. All other nationalities generally apply for the Visitor Visa (subclass 600). Australia issues electronic visas only — no label or sticker is placed in your passport. Your visa grant notice is delivered to your email or ImmiAccount, and your status can be verified anytime through VEVO (the official visa check system). At Sunline Travel & Tourism, we provide a travel pack with your grant letter and a verified VEVO check for airline and immigration use. Because the visa is digital, it’s essential to travel with the same passport used in your application. If you renew or replace your passport, let us know early so we can update your details before you travel.
